Duties:

• Responsible for software development tasks as part of a mixed, including but not limited to:
  assisting with requirements analysis, software design, programming, implementation, and software testing.
• Apply their knowledge of computer systems and software engineering best practices in the performance of their duties and be responsible for ensuring software compliance standards are met by the application of appropriate processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
• Responsible for integrating software components and third-party programs, verifying and deploying programs and systems, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Expected to provide input into estimating/planning, to work under limited supervision to develop technical solutions to customer business/mission problems and contribute towards ensuring that project milestones are met.
• Contribute as a member of a Development Team to successfully deliver an intermediate-sized workflow-based system within an Agile development environment.
• Design and develop the system using modern software development techniques and tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or a similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
  • Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
  • Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications

Duties:

• Respond and incident manage cyber-attacks, malware, and active threat to reduce the potential impact
• Contributing to the development and continual improvement of methodologies, standards, tools, and approaches for the team
• Provide support to security risk assessments across the products and organisation.
• Engage with IT service providers and other stakeholders to agree on a mitigation plan, a remediation strategy, and appropriate timelines for any issues found.
• Ensuring all security and operational controls are followed and enforced to ensure client data remains secure, available, and private, where applicable
• Implement improvements in process documents. Prepare documentation as and when required on a technical subject related to Security.
• Resolve or escalate events, threats, and incidents per our specified procedures and processes.
• Maintains awareness of the changing threat landscape by participating in and sometimes contributing to relevant security groups, forums, or conferences.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Over-all of 2-3 years of experience in IT.
• A minimum of 1 Year of experience in Cybersecurity/Information Security
• Must have experience in performing Static Code Analysis (Secure Code Review), Application-Level Penetration Tests, Mobile Security Tests, API security Tests, and Infra Security tests.
• Should have worked with Security Standards – OWASP, SANS 20, PCI-DSS, NIST, COBIT, etc..
• Should have worked on Threat modeling. Should have the ability to map threats and vulnerability, articulate to business owners the impacts and risks.
• Exposure to JAVA, API, Net, Spark, Python, react.js languages, and technologies respectively.
• Should have worked on Tools – Fortify, Checkmarx, Webinspect, Burp Pro, Acunetix, Hailstorm, Blackduck, Appscan, Open source tool for Security Tests.
• Should have worked on Infra Tools – Qualys, Nessus, Nmap, Open Source tool for Security Tests.
• Good to have the knowledge and worked on Security – Cloud, Infra, Firewalls, Routers, and Wifi
• Curiosity in the latest Security information and technology. Should be ready to do PoC and analyse new tools on Security area
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Security Operations
